Home Stretch

Well, Frank has left home and is back to Iraq until late November/early December. This goodbye was not nearly as hard as it was back in January and then again in March. I think having two weeks at home together and knowing that he'll be home again so soon in only two months brought comfort to us both.
Upon Frank's return to Iraq, his unit had moved 2-3 hours away in southern Iraq. I haven't been able to talk to him much as he is getting acclimated to a new work schedule, a new base and a new workout routine. I think he is biting his time until he comes home.
We had a lovely visit where we did a lot, yet at the same time, really did nothing. We managed to stain our deck, took in lots of movie, did some shopping and ate out a few times. Other than that, we laid low and hung out with friends, family and had some much needed alone time as well. Here are some more pictures below from our time together. December will be here before you know it!
