I am home from spending a week in Minnesota with my side of the family, sans Frank. :( He will be overseas for atleast another month, maybe 2. The dates keep getting pushed back, so in an effort not to go insane (literally), we have decided to focus on supporting one another versus the actual time we are still apart. Needless to say, he was greatly missed at our Christmas celebration. After our arrival, Madeline (my adorable niece) asked her mommy "Where is Frank?" It broke my heart but was so thoughtful of her at the tender age of only three!
The highlight of the trip for me was seeing my fast growing niece, Madeline, and my two nephews who are only 2 months apart, Henry and Landon. It was so much fun to see them all interacting with one another! It was such a great trip and the only way it could have been better is if Frank had been there. Other than missing him terribly, it was a lovely week spent with a loving family.
