This past weekend was wonderful! Frank and I worked in the yard literally all day on Saturday! It was a bit chilly and quite windy but we somehow managed to be really productive. We basically completely ripped out almost all of our "old" shrubs and flowers, some of which were dead, others which were just plain ugly. Here are some pics of our efforts.
Lillies are my favorite so I did pink and purple calla lillies in the front (blooming soon I hope!). On Sunday I spent the day at my mom's and Frank at his. He helped his mom construct and install new roll out shelves for her kitchen cabinets and I potted flowers for my mom. We both had a great day with our mommies :)
